$87 and a guilty conscience that gets worse the longer I go by Richmond Fontaine (Décor)

An evident Crazy Horse influence can be detected in one of this column’s favourite outfits, Richmond Fontaine, who have just released an 8 track mini-lp, $87 and a guilty conscience that gets worse the longer I go. Comprised of songs recorded during the sessions for last May’s wonderful Thirteen Cities, but which didn’t make it onto album, plus a couple of alternate versions, it also includes a CD Rom with a video for instrumental ‘El Tiradito’ and a documentary on the writing and recording of ‘A Ghost I Became’. An essential item for any fan.
